1cupchole/ chickpeascooked with 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4teaspoonturmeric powder
1teaspoonred chilly powder or paprika
1/4cuponions finely chopped
2tablespoonsoil
For garnish:
1/4cupfinely chopped onions
coriander/ cilantro leaves finely chopped
1green chilly finely choppedoptional
1/2teaspoonchaat masala or to taste
1teaspoonlime juice or to taste
Instructions
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil on medium heat and saute 1/4 cup of onions. Add chilly powder and turmeric and mix well. Add drained chickpeas and sauté well till spices coats. Adjust salt if needed.
Garnish with onions + cilantro + green chillies + chaat masala and lime juice.
Recipe Notes
I used paprika, so please adjust the spice level accordingly if using any other chilly powder.
