cranberry and pistachio cheese balls

These cranberry and pistachio cheese balls are undoubtedly one of the easiest appetizers you can make this holiday season or any other time of the year. Prepared in less than 15 minutes, it is a favorite among both children and adults.

  • 16 Ounce 226g cream cheese
  • 1 cup mild white cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup cranberries coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pistachios coarsely chopped
  1. Add cream cheese to a bowl and beat well.
  2. To this add cheddar cheese + salt + pepper powder and mix well.
  3. Transfer onto a plastic wrap and wrap it well.
  4. Refrigerate for almost 2 hours and then roll into a ball.
  5. Mix the cranberries and pistachios in a tray or flat dish. Add the cheese ball and roll it to coat evenly.

  6. Serve immediately with your favorite crackers.
Recipe Notes

If you want to make ahead, follow the directions from 1 to 4 and then coat only before serving. Cheese can be mixed up to a day or two in advance
