Whipped Coffee Recipe | Dalgona Coffee or Beaten Coffee is one of the best coffee recipes to recreate restaurant-style coffee at home. You can beat the coffee ahead of time.
Add Instant coffee + sugar into a coffee cup. Add a tablespoon of hot water and beat with a spoon in a circular motion.
Add 1/2 tablespoon of water at a time as needed until you see a cream with a thick consistency. The color of the coffee will turn pale. When you invert the glass the mixture should not fall out.
Add Instant coffee + sugar + hot water into a bowl and beat for about 2 to 3 minutes till you see a thick mouse-like texture.
A stiff peak should form and the color should turn pale. Also, when you invert the bowl the mixture should not fall out.
To make cold coffee: Fill a glass with ice and add a cup of milk of your choice (soy, almond, etc) and top with 2 tablespoons of whipped coffee. Taste and add more if needed depending on how strong you like it. You can also add more sugar as needed.
To make hot coffee: Add a tablespoon of whipped coffee, then top with a cup of steaming hot milk. Stir it with a spoon. Then top with another tablespoon of whipped coffee. Taste and adjust more whipped coffee or sugar as needed.
You can make the whipped coffee and store it in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
